Ray and Denny's Travels
Arrived in Tanunda (Barossa Valley) about 4.00pm. Had an interesting day but survived it all. We stopped at Port Germain on Spencer Gulf for a cuppa and saw the car burst out of a cloud of steam. A heater hose burst and sprayed over the hot exhaust.
As usual the hose was the first part of the car built and was very difficult to get at. A pair of grey nomads pulled up in a bus and after digging around in the back found a length of heater hose. An hour later we were back on the road thanks to a couple of nice people from Casterton, Vic.
The caravan park at Tanunda is great with big grassed sites and good amenities.
Tomorrow the wine tasting begins.
