Day 1 Tanunda Spent the morning wandering the town and talking to the locals. This is one of the most friendly towns we have visited. If we ever dsappear from Mooroopna this would be a likely place to look. After unloading the mornings spoils we ventured out for some wine tasting and found some marvellous wines. Arrived in Tanunda (Barossa Valley) about 4.00pm. Had an interesting day but survived it all. We stopped at Port Germain on Spencer Gulf for a cuppa and saw the car burst out of a cloud of steam. A heater hose burst and sprayed over the hot exhaust. As usual the hose was the first part of the car built and was very difficult to get at. Beautiful sunny day in Whyalla. Did the shareholders inspection on a guided tour of the steelworks. Very impressive and brought back memories of Port Kembla. Had fish and chips for lunch and a lazy afternoon with a "nanna nap". Moving to Tanunda in the Barossa tomorrow after a detour to Port Wakefield for one last go at a seaside town.

Arrived in Whyalla and the sun is shining for the first time in 10 days. Here for 2 days before travelling to the Barossa. Have a good spot on the foreshore. Tomorrow we are going on a tour of the steelworks. Shareholders taking an interest.

Another windy overcast day in Port Lincoln. Latest pictures are around Boston Bay. Visited Axel Stennross Museum yesterday and this would be one of the great men's shed. All the old boat building tools in the original workshop that still slips boats. The old blokes run the museum but spend their spare time fiddling and restoring small wooden boats and engines.
