Finally finished cleaning out the house and left about 9,00. Normal pit stop in Jerilderie where Denny disproved a family myth that black swans attack blondes, This lonely swan was quite friendly and enjoyed anzac biscuits.
Decided to set the atmosphere for the trip so stopped at the London Hotel in Ardlethan for a couple of cold beers and a counter lunch, I think it is about 50 years since I was there before and they did not remember me,
Stopping overnight at Forbes and moving on tomorrow to Lightning Ridge.

Sandra Lee It was because the swan was on its own that it was friendly- did not have back up. I was suppose to go to the specialist today but we really stuffed things up. Went to bed early, could not sleep because we thought we would miss the alarm. finally went to sleep at 4 am woke at 10 am. had to be in Melbourne by 10.30 a.m. they are not very happy with me wonder why? Have not been to Lightning Ridge, please take some photos/ Safe travel Sandra and Ron.
Linda Brown Good to here you two have hit the road so exciting heading up to your new home, we are back in Bendigo had a great trip Jan and Feb did Corryong, Marimbula,Mallacoota, Lakes Entrance, Inverloch and Blairgowrie glad we did the coastal run because we had beautiful sea breezes it was so hot inland. We are heading to Port Fairy for the Festival having a week down there, head of to Bali on the 18th March. Do hope you both are well speak to you soon keep me posted Lots of love
