we woke up early this morning not because we had to but because we could hear lions roaring all night...felt like they were just a few meters away from the tents. So we went to the waterhole hoping to see them there...but had no luck:( had coffee and rusks before we all climbed back into the truck for another game drive. Yet again stopped again to take pictures of the common zebras and springbrok as the muzungus were still excited! Didnt see much during the game drive. Stopped for a champagne breakfast in the middle of the park...had fruit skewers, cookies,cereal, yogurt and of course champagne :) We then drove off to the salt pan which is enormous.

On our way back to the campsite we saw elephants, giraffes and ostriches...more exciting than just zebras. For lunch had a yummy dorito salad...weird combination but works well. Then decided not to go for another game drive so instead sat by the waterhole and saw a variety of animals that came down to drink. The giraffes looked beautiful with their long legs, the zebras were stunning in a row, the elephants and rhinos came in two by two....much more exciting than the game drive would have been as they only saw giraffes from what we were told :)

The evening came and we were still at the waterhole. Finally went to join the rest of the group for dinner before going back to the waterhole.
