Everyone found it very difficult to get up at 4am in the morning. We all ate breakfast like zombies and slowly climbed onto the truck where everyone swatched. Our sleep was interrupted by a police check for the Foot & Mouth Disease where we had to walk through some wet blanket in our flip flops in the cold.
We drove on towards the Elephant Sands where we had fruit and custard for lunch…it was a good time to stretch out and wake up.We saw lots of elephants along the main road as apparently this area has the largest population of elephants in southern Africa. We reached our campsite in Choebe at around 3pm - Thebe River Safaris. Today we covered 600KM…our campsite wasn't ready so we all just chilled, had a shower, watched the finals for the 20/20 cricket. The campsite was still not available as they had overbooked so we had dinner and then found ourselves a temporary spot in the parking area where we set up our tents in the dark and went to bed as usual due to the early start.
