We left Phnom Penh at 12pm and got on a coach to travel to the other main city in Cambodia - Siem Reap. The journey took 7 hours but it was a nice journey as we were on a good bus as it had wifi and plug sockets so we were entertained.

We arrived at the Mad Monkey hostel around 8pm. When booking online the price was $32 but on arrival it had gone up to $38 so I mentioned the online price and the staff were very quick to agree. I think they just wanted to pocket the extra $6 but having been a traveller for 6 weeks not much gets past me now. Nice try though.

In Siem Reap, they have a Hard Rock Cafe so we went there for tea to get another magnet.

Has anyone seen the TV show 'rules of engagement'? Well one guy likes to mention to restaurants that he is newly engaged to try and get a discount so we thought it would be fun to give it a go. The Hard Rock is expensive and we are travellers after all. So during the meal we requested a song to the band playing called 'marry you' by Bruno Mars adding a PS underneath that we are engaged. We waited 20 minutes and nothing happened so in the end we left haha.
