I did have to fly via Bangkok which involved having to pay for a flight I didn't want to get me to Bangkok! I arrived in KL early yesterday morning after a brief 45 minute flight from Singapore. Pain in the arse though as I thought I had to check in 3 hours before my flight as it was an international one so I got up at 3am, got to the airport shortly before 4am and found the whole place closed apart from Starbucks and Burger King! I got up at 9.30am, my room was still dark as there are no windows so I could have slept for ages! I then had to queue for the shower and loo which involved lots of hopping! Well I'm here in a surreal place called Singapore. It feels like Asia in that its bloody hot and humid and there are lots of Asian people here but it just doesn't look like Asia!!
