Well I just arrived in Wellington this evening just over an hour late. We got stuck in a traffic jam just outside Taupo because a lorry was on fire or something? Had a good relaxing day today. Had to go shopping this morning to buy a new mains adapter for my ipod. I bought one in the US but I've since realised that they work on half the voltage as here and I think it will actually blow up if I plug it in so it's not worth the risk! I can't find a voltage adapter anywhere. I've now got a worldwide adapter that automatically knows what voltage to use. Should have bought one like that in the first place! I think went t...

So I got the coach this morning to the eggy city. In some places it really does stink! There are a lot of thermal pools and sulphur coming out of the earth and it smells just like rotting eggs. Yum! I had a wonder around when I arrived. The sky was blue and it was quite hot but there was a cool breeze. The lake is beautiful and has volcano peak in the middle because it's a caldera. ie its made from a sunken volcano crater. There are lots of things to see ...

Helloo. Yesterday I took myself to the zoo! It was great fun. I saw kiwis which are sooo cute and various other animals including giraffes, elephants, lions, sealions and little blue penguins which were also very cure although hiding!
