So I got the coach this morning to the eggy city. In some places it really does stink! There are a lot of thermal pools and sulphur coming out of the earth and it smells just like rotting eggs. Yum!

I had a wonder around when I arrived. The sky was blue and it was quite hot but there was a cool breeze. The lake is beautiful and has volcano peak in the middle because it's a caldera. ie its made from a sunken volcano crater. There are lots of things to see and do here but I think I might be a bit stuck without a car! I don't want to be paying loads of money to do guided tours. I did a fab tour yesterday but it wasn't cheap and I can't afford to keep spending my money on things like that.

Luckily I've only got 2 more days here because I'm not quite sure how to fill my time. Even the shops closed at 4.30 - 5.00pm! There doesn't really seem to be much to do in the town itself.

Mmmm. Roll on Wellington!
