Have had an amazing few days. Yesterday we got back from Uluru, and checked into a new hostel. We didn't want to leave the desert!! The scenery was spectacular, although Alice Springs wasn't that exciting. Hannah had a swimming pool to herself in the Ayers Rock resort until she met a friend. Uluru was incredible, but we had to get up at 5am each morning for the tours / planes. Firstly we walked around Kata Tjuta, which was.. lumpy! Then we went to Uluru and walked around while the guides told us Aboriginal stories about the Rock. We had champagne and a barbie outside while the sun set, and we had a good view of the Rock. We are getting good at hoarding plane food / free brekkie! Yesterday we had a HUGE breakfast at the Ayers Rock resort because it was FREE!! So we ate loads. And Hannah swiped a yoghurt (to eat later with her aeroplane spoon.. bargain). Also have swiped a few apples from planes. We are considering going up Sydney Tower this evening to see the sunset over the town. Trying desparately to upload photographs as we have taken LOADS but computers are not complying!
