Rach- we arrived in Byron Bay last night after a whole day on the road in the tour coach. It was nice to meet the other people on the tour who we will be lodging with for the next 2 weeks. Have had an amazing few days. Yesterday we got back from Uluru, and checked into a new hostel. We didn't want to leave the desert!! The scenery was spectacular, although Alice Springs wasn't that exciting. Hannah had a swimming pool to herself in the Ayers Rock resort until she met a friend. Uluru was incredible, but we had to get up at 5am each morning for the tours / planes. Firstly we walked around Kata Tjuta, which was.. lumpy! Then we went to Uluru and walke...

Rain rain go away... well it did for some of the day. We managed to get some nice pics in the Botanical Gardens and the Harbour area when the sun showed its face (pics to follow). Hannah found a pink band and thinks it's very pretty. Met a Digderidude in a shop and he gave us a performance, and a lesson!! Hannah was better than Rachel... and now enjoys practising raspberries at any given time. Circular breathing...? i don't think so! The people in our hostel...

Crashed into Sydney at 7am in high winds. Went through Immigration, and began to queue for Passport Controls. We had only been in the queue half an hour when an immigration officer pulled us and our luggage over! Hannah thought it was the contraband chocolate bar she had smuggled into Australia... but no, it was Rachel's passport!
