So my last few days in Cairns have been really busy. I booked myself on one last tour which meant I have pretty much done everything that is available in Cairns and the surronding area. So I spent my birthday in Port Douglas and can honestly say it was let's just say dull. I booked myself into a room for 6 people thinking then at least I would have some company. However once I arrived I discovered it would just be me on my own for three days. So all I can say was it was very lonely. So after so many dull weeks in Cairns I eventually booked myself on a trip to get my trip moving again. I choose Cape Tribulation cause it is in the middle of the rainforest and it's a national heritage site due to the fact the rainforest meets the barrier reef.
