had a interview with an employment agency today at 9am. I had to get up at 7.30 which sucked! Was there for three hours. Firstly I had to do three test - a bank reconciliation, a debtor rec and a creditor rec. I'm not use to doing these things on paper - I always used a computer. Got 100% in the bank rec, but didn't do as well in the other two. Also had to do data input test (I did excellently!!) and watch a stupid health and safety video and then answer questions about it ie if you do not have a forklift license when should you drive it? a. All the time b. Only sometimes c. Never Then I had to answer general crappy interview questions. I've been put forward for two jobs - I'll have to wait and see if I get them. PS Liz expect a phone call or email soon from them. After that most of the Bunac lot and some yanks met up at the IEP offices to do a bungy jump off the Auckland Harbour Bridge. Some people chickened out, others didn't bother to even attempt to jump and just watched and one girl even cried. But I didn't - I dived off before the countdown had even finished (cos if I didn't go then I never would!) IT WAS AMAZING!!!! The worst bit was the bouncing bit after the initial jump because you come right the way up again - so you go from head down feet up to a standing upright position - then you snap back down again - Ads I dont know how you did the big one straight away. But I might be tempted to do another one someday. I have got some photos - but I havent been able to upload them yet. Nothing much happening on the flat hunt. It looks like it might be difficult to get a 3 bedroom flat close to the centre and for the right money so we may all just try to get our places. Anyway tomorrow is going to be spent trying to flat hunt.
