16 November - Caught the Coastline bus back to Dunedin about 9am. It was a direct trip this time so it only took about 2 hours to get back. 15 November - Went to Oamaru today, which is a couple of hours drive north of Dunedin. Caught the Coastlines tour bus which was drived by a lovely old bloke called Bruce - but for some reason I kept calling him Brian. Arrived in Dunedin today from Queenstown. Scenery wasn't as spectacular on the way here as it has been in other places. But in a place called Clyde we did see New Zealand's largest concrete dam that took 20 years (it was only supposed to take 4) to build. The stupid thing is that they built in directly ontop of a fault line - I wouldn't want to be living in Clyde when the next big earthquake hits! Am staying in On Top backpackers which is ok.
