We set off today for another day of site seeing, and found the weather was much better . The first stop was the "Crazy House", described in the Lonely Planet as being designed in the style of Alice and Wonderland, and as it was only about 20 minutes away we thought it would be worth a visit. Turns out it wasn't. The building was really run down and in need of a good clean and unfortunately there was nothing weird and wonderful about it at all. We wandered around for about 10 minutes and left. After an unsuccessful start, we decided to set off walking to the waterfalls, thinking as there had been quite a lot of rain recently, they should be quite impressive. They weren't. The waterfalls had been created from the city's canal system and consisted mostly of concrete blocks with tacky fake elephants and deer, there were also two horses on show that were twitching because they couldn't move, very sad. Again we walked around for a while and took a few pictures. Thinking this clearly wasn't going well, we decided to head back to town.
We spent the rest of the afternoon on the internet and we managed to watch the Top Gear special, they filmed in Vietnam. It was cool watching it and recognising certain places they visited. We've really enjoyed Dalat, it was nice to come somewhere so different to anywhere we have visited so far. Tomorrow we are heading back to the heat, in the beach town of Nha Trang.
