When we booked the bus to Nha Trang yesterday, we were expecting the journey to take 7 hours but the guy we bought the ticket from said it would take 3-4 hours. Not quite sure how the times could differ so much, we boarded the bus at 8.00am and got ready for it to take seven hours thinking anything less would be a bonus.
Rachael promptly fell asleep, while Tom enjoyed all the amazing scenery on the journey down through the mountains, amazing! At 12.30 we were both snoozing when the bus stopped and everyone started getting off. We had arrived, after only 4 and a half hours. Waking up as quickly as we could we got off the bus and tried to get our bearings. We set off in the direction of the beach and found ourselves a guest house.
That afternoon, we set off exploring the town, we went down to the beach and had a paddle in the lovely warm water and bought a couple of snorkels hoping to make use of them over the next few months.
In the evening we went to a slightly move expensive restaurant than normal and enjoyed some seafood. Vietnam defiantly has the best food we've come across, always very fresh and reasonably priced.
