We got up ready to check out of the hostel at 10am. The manager was in and gave us both a refund of $79.00 as we were only supposed to have paid $13.50 when we checked in the other day with our Aussie Specialist cards and Explore New Zealand cards. Today we got up and checked out of the hostel at 8.30am. Then we got the free shuttle to the Greyhound pick up point. The bus was due at 9.15am but it came early which was good. We are heading to Townsville today and then catching a ferry across to Magnetic Island. The bus journey took around 4 hours and we arrived at the Breakwater ferry terminal at 1pm.
