Happy 25th Birthday

Today its my birthday. It feels a bit strange being away from family and friends. Plus I didn't have any presents to open which is a birthday tradition lol. It was really good to celebrate my birthday last night with people I knew. I had a great time with Gina and the lads. I didn't get up until 10.30am as I had a massive hangover. While I had been in the shower, Gina decorated my bed with loads of balloons and a Happy Birthday banner. It was such a nice surprise. We went to get some food and then said goodbye to the lads as they are leaving at 1pm. We are staying at the same hostel in Airlie Beach as them so we will see them again. In the afternoon we wanted to stay out of the sun as Gina was very sunburnt on her back plus we were really tired so we went on the internet for a bit and then went for a sleep. At 6pm the hostel was doing a all you can eat BBQ for $12.00. Gina paid for me as a birthday present. It was a really good BBQ with loads of food. Hannah was cooking the food on the BBQ. They had live music in the evening and we had a few drinks. I was on coke as I couldn't face alcohol today lol. Gina was drinking jugs of beer. I spoke to my mum and dad on the phone and they wished me a happy birthday. Gina also phoned her family as well. I got bitten by a mosquito on my eye lid and it started to swell up. Not a good look. Then we went back to our dorm room and popped all the balloons. Afterwards we went to bed.
