Today we had a lay in as we had been out drinking the night before. We got up around 10.30am and had some breakfast. Then we headed to the pool area. The lads were already down there. We spent most of the day sunbathing and relaxing in the pool chatting with the lads. It's the lads last night on Magnetic Island as they are leaving for Airlie Beach tomorrow plus its my birthday tomorrow as well so we decided to have a BBQ. We all went to get ready and then walked to the supermarket - Foodworks. We got loads of food and split the cost between 9 of us which came to $5.00 each. Then we got 12 litres of goon (cheap wine in Australia) and split the cost between us for this as well which came to $5.00 each. So for food and alcohol it was $10.00 each. So cheap. Then we walked a short distance to the BBQ area which was located next to the beach. The BBQ was free to use as well. Rory was Chef for the night and cooked all the food. He did a really good job. We had so much food but managed to eat it all. After the BBQ we played drinking games and all got very drunk on goon. Gina had bought party hats so we were all wearing these. After most of the goon had gone we headed back to the hostel and got changed. Then we went out at the bar and did a lot of dancing. We didn't have to buy many drinks as we were already drunk from the goon. That's some strong stuff lol. The music stops at midnight so we all headed to the beach to continue the party. Afterwards the lads went skinny dipping in the pool. At 3am we decided to go to bed.
