Got up and went down for breakfast. It's free again but only consists of tea or coffee and mini donuts. After breakfast I tried to call my mum as she is going on holiday to Greece for 2 weeks but my phonecard wouldn't work. I was really annoyed as I really wanted to speak to her but ended up texting instead. Went down to the beach for 2 hours. It was really hot. Then I went for a walk to go to Diamond Head. There is a scenic lookout area but I couldn't find it so I turned back to the hostel. A new girl from Australia arrived today in our dorm room. Her name is Kat and is a really nice person. She is just in Hawaii for a holiday. The evening was a complete nightmare. One of the girls in our dorm room had been biten by bedbugs and reported it to reception. They came to inspect all the beds and each one had bedbugs on it. I hadn't been biten and no one else had been either apart from that one girl. It was so bad that we had to move to another room and wash all our clothes incase they were on them. Apparently these bedbugs spread quite rapidly so we had to do this. Luckily we got free laundry facilities. It was not a fun night.
