Today we left Bass Lake at 7.45am to head to San Francisco. It took the morning to get there. We arrived in San Francisco at lunchtime so we stopped at Fishermans Wharf for an hour. Then after lunch we had a city tour. We were shown North Beach, Chinatown, Financial District, South Beach, Castro, Haight Ashbury, Golden Gate Park, Cow Hollow, Bay Bridge and Golden Gate Bridge. Today we had to meet at 8am to be taken to Yosemite National Park. It took about 2 and a half hours from Bass Lake. There are loads of walks to do and beautiful scenery to enjoy. We had around 4 and a half hours in the national park. There was a free shuttle that took you to each walking trail. We stopped off at one of them. Got up ready to walk to the pick up point for the California Highlights tour. It's with Contiki. There are around 45 other people on this tour for the week. We met our tour guide who is in charge of us all. His name is Jason. Got up ready to be picked up at 8.50am to go to the airport for my flight to Los Angeles. It was at 11.20am with American Airlines. Checked in at the self service kisok, dropped my bag off and went through security. It wasn't long until we got called for boarding. There were 2 lines, one for normal boarding and one for priority boarding but only 1 person checking boarding cards for both lines.
