Last day on Galapagos. Boat was very rocky last nite. At breakfast Jen told me how she threw up in her mouth during the nite. Spotted red footed boobies today! Also had best snorkelling yet - went deep sea with Miguel and straight away about five or six sea lions swam up to us. Then there were loads of fish, turtles and rays. Had everything. Unfortunately was really rough where we were and I got sea sick and had a vomit in the water, on top of a couple of golden rays. Spent most of rest of day on bed trying to recover - bit all worth it. Made it out for dinner and the little group ...

Great island this morning (South Plaza) - possibly the best yet. Sea lions and iguanas again, but scenery just awesome. Unfortunately saw a couple of baby sea lion corpses too in various stages of decay (from pretty fresh with crabs eating them, to fairly deflated and dried out). Jen's stinger marks have shrunken to the size of small golf balls. Still won't tap that. Swam with sea lions in bay today. Went off by myself to other side where there were some pups...

Was a changeover day for almost everyone else on cruise. So morning a bit unimpressive as we had to go to airport. On way we went to a turtle reserve and walked through a lava tube which was ok. I've got crabs. Seen today: a million marine iguanas at Espinosa Point, as well as loads of sea lions and cubs, crabs, lizards. Saw two sea turtles mating at sea (the male just looked like he was holding on for dear life). Actually, the iguanas were pretty rapey - they blokes would just attack the chicks and it was only a matter of whether they were fleet enough to get away.
