Wake up at 11am after a surprisingly good sleep with the fan. My sun burn hurts a lot today so decide to stay out of the sun as much as possible, this is helped by the clouds :)

Go to Safety Stop Pub (same place as dinner last night) for breakfast. I have a HUGE omelette which was pretty good! We then take a walk to find fruit juice. Get a papaya one which tastes off so I throw it away :/

Go back to the room to get changed and put on lots of sun cream. We head downstairs to rent scooters from across the road for 150baht each for 24 hours. Because I've not done it before they say for us to take just 1 for Rikka to drive. Rikka not up for it as it's starting to rain and could be dangerous - fine by me :)

Instead we walk to Sairee beach which is about a 15 minute walk away. Walk along the path to find a place to stop for a drink. Go to AC Restaurant for a drink, as we're sat there we watch a storm approaching (glad we are not on the scooters). About 15 minutes later the storm arrives, they had just put the shutters down but we still moved a couple tables back. Pretty much as soon as we moved the shutters come flying up and loads of rain pours through, we would have got soaked!

2 girls from Manchester invite us to sit in their table and play Rummy. After a few games we try to re-learn "s***head" which proved unsuccessful and then we played Rikka's game of kings I'm the corner :). Ellen (22) did Geography at Lancs uni and now works for Manchester Transport - her job sounds pretty cool! Sarah (23, today!) studied Law at the same uni and is now doing a Graduate scheme at Ernst & Young.

All 4 of us grab pancakes then they go back for showers. We head into he town a bit further to see stuff and then head back to the room. I have a quick shower.

At 8 we meet Ellen and Sarah back at the AC Restaurant and hen walk to find food to celebrate Sarah's birthday. We find "The Cottage" which are doing a BBQ; I have yellow curry and the others get Chicken skewers from the BBQ. We really like these girls :)

At 10:15pm Rikka and I head home to pack and go to bed at 11:40.
