Wake up at 8:15am and get all my stuff together.
At 9 we check out of our guesthouse and go buy pancakes for breakfast :) I have a ninnan and sweet milk one, yum! On the way to the ferry I eat my pancake, Rikka was waiting to eat hers on the ferry but dropped it on the way!
Get on the ferry and this time sit downstairs. He ferry pushes up against the pier which makes a horrible sound each time and makes he wall move :/
At 9:45 we start moving. The weather is really bad and the ride is horrible and it feels like the boat is going to capsize :( lots of people rush outside to be sick... Instead, I fall asleep so I can't see what's going on but before I do I run through in my head every option for my escape!
Sleep for about 30 mins and then when I wake up we're almost at Koh Phangan! It takes another 30 minutes to dock the ferry until we are finally released from this death trap at 12!
Get in a taxi and pay 150 baht each to get to "OK Bungalows" which were really quite cute (from the name I had imagined something much worse...), and we get a private beach. The co-owner is German and seems really nice and is just cleaning our bungalow when we get there. She introduces us to a really friendly dog which likes to sit on our balcony called Blacky - she's lovely!
Update journal and message Aaron who's waiting for his plane at Hethrow.
We then walk up he road to a scooter hire place where we get scooters for 200baht each, per day. We ride our scooters to Thong Sala (the nearest town) and find a nice place to eat some pad thai. The tattoo shop opposite are playing with this little French boy and pretend to tattoo him and instead draw on him with pen - funny watching passers by's reactions when they don't realise it's just a pen!
It starts to rain so we decide to head back before the roads get too wet! MISTAKE! Torrential rain starts pouring and you can barely see! I get so soaked I just laugh the whole way home, we could not have got wetter!
Back at the bungalow we dry off and then watch "Revenge of the Bridemaids" which was not so bad and then force our selves to get dressed and head out to find some dinner, luckily it's stopped raining!
We were on our way back to Thong Sala when just down the road from our bungalow we spot "Blue chilli" and decide to eat there. I had Panang Curry, yum yum! The guy that owns the place is from Liverpool but went to Uni in manchester (his accent is a bit strange) and never went back home from travelling!
Go back to our bungalow and watch "Bend it like Beckham". Briefly talk to Aaron on Facebook while he waits for his flight to Bangkok from Abu Dhabi. Get to sleep at 11pm.
