Sunday : rain

Well we had a good sleep, slept until 10:30. We did some thinking on what we were going to do today. Its Sunday so I think going to the sights might be better to do tomorrow. So today was going to be a lazy day.

We eventually left the room, after Kim made a Skype call and I did some diary work. Then we went down to tell the hotel we would like to stay more nights. It took a good 20 minutes to before the person at reception could figure out what we were saying, but we got the message through eventually. I needed some cash, and we noticed a bank just up the street so thats where we went.

Came back and went into the adjoining hostel for some food. We got some noodles and Kung pow chicken. Don't forget the beers and ice-cream.

We were there for a few hours, then we realized that we needed to do laundry. Our hotel doesn't do laundry but they have one machine for 140rooms in the hotel. We could hang clothes up on our balcony so I went foraging for some clothes hangers, while Kim got some free washing powder.

The machine was free so in went our rags, and back we went to the room. We fell asleep again for 2 hrs. We quickly rushed down to the machine and somebody had taken our clothes out of the machine and they were no where to be seen. It took awhile to find the clothes there were tucked away in a room for some reason?

We went back to our room, to start hanging them up. I managed to scavenge up enough hangers too.

It was 8pm now time for dinner, the hostel was full. We tried another place but that had a large group of loud Chinamen smoking in it. Next to it was a nice quiet Thai restaurant, which brought back lots of memories of our previous trip to the land of Thai. I just can't go past the old pad Thai and it didn't let us down, the curry was good too. No beer tonight tried some tea for my sore throat.

After the nice meal we went back to our room and did some reading, and more diary writing.
