SIPIDAN!

Just to finish the last 3 days at Mabul...

Pretty much we chilled out on the beach, had an afternoon session with spanish brady with a guy named scott from canada. Enjoyed exploring the island and watching the sunsets and sunrises!

on the 21st rik and i finally got permits to Sipidan with a scuba company called UNCLE CHANG! haha. can you believe it! anyway sipidan was pretty damn COOL. we saw vortex's of jacks, schools of humphead parrot fish, dozens of white tip reef sharks, tons of turtles... and generally just enjoyed the underwater topography. 600m drop offs straight off the shore! wow. visabiluty wasnt amazing. probably 15m at best! definately will haev to come back to see it on a good day.. plus maybe see the vortex of barracuda!

we left mabul back to semporna on the 22nd and Tino (the german owner of Scuba Junkie) took us on my 100th dive... night dive off the pier... We were warned about the dirty water and the rubbish and sure enough it was PRETTY BAD! however the stuff we saw was out of this world... crazy Nudies, flat worms, decorator hermit crabs, spider crabs, tons of weird shrimp, 7 seahorses, flounder... and so much more! one of my favourite dives ever!!! 90minute dive too! WOOHOOO!

tomorrow we are heading to Sepilok to visit the orangutans and do a jungle trek! BRING IT ON!
