1st day in oz. Landed at Brisbane about 6.30 in the morning, just like that tv programme passport control with sniffer dogs and all sorts. Got the next flight to cairns and landed at 3.30 to cloudy weather and a bit of rain but at least the temp is lush!

Met a german guy called Michael who moved into the same room as me ( also got the same flight but didn't realise) went into town for a bit of food. Supermarkets are rubbish here! Got back and the other 2 ppl in our room were a lad and lass from Sweden. Jumped on my bed chill and I'm pretty sure I fell asleep by 8.

But... The Swedish guy snores like a walrus and kept waking me up, it kept waking the german guy and he started shouting OH MAAAN and f*** MAAAN which would help stop the snoring for all of 10 mins and with my body clock still knackered I never properly got back to sleep again. The german took all his stuff out the room so he must have asked to change, think I'll do the same
