We're here!

We left homea at 5 AM and landed in SEA around 1 PM. Grace had a glorious nap; I read a moving book, Travelling Mercies. She snored; I laughed and cried and I'm sure that Grace was happy to sleep through that! . In Seattle, we grabbed the Lite Rail and a bus to end up here at Claire's place! Yay! I felt so at home walking in to Herkimer this afternoon to work on my P3 online course. I even recognized the barista from last June! The coffee was amazing and I got my assignments finished.

Then, the moment we'd been waiting for - Claire got home from work! I can't begin to describe how good it was to see her and to have that big hug. <3

Another bus trip as we headed to Fremont for dinner at Stoneway Cafe. Super delicious and we got to see the beginning of an Open Mic night! We finished our night in Fremont with a stop at Fremont Brewing. Fun spot and a definite repeat. Claire's friend Chris met us there and a vicious round of Bulls*** broke out! My strategy to monopolize the cards failed miserably and Claire came out the winner! I need to develop a new approach for the next round. Planning to use my design process learning from my online class to come up with a new plan! Lol

By now, it was after midnight Ohio time and I was fading fast!

Back to Claire's apartment where we got to meet her roommate Lizzie for the first time. I look forward to talking more with her when I am more awake! Lol! Photos are in the Day One album.
