We meet our guide for the day, captain camel, who starts to give us a tour around the havelis of jaisalmer. Beautfil old architecture, the mansions were ornately detailed on the exterior lbefore entering into a central atrium upon which all rooms looked. The first was a prvately owned one so only access to the atrium was allowed, the second was part government owned and had various restoration done over time. It was whilst outside here that lots of local village men starting attempting to take photos of us, leading to a bit of chaos, one person fainting and two leaving the morning walk. Eek. A few of us then continued and headed up for lunch at a restaurant called little Tibet at the top of the fort. Stunning views all over the city. Our camel safari started at 3pm so we gathered our bits ready for a 1.5 hour camel ride. Mine was called lucky although there were apparently two by the same name. After s very bumpy ride we had an awesome evening of food booze and hunting for shooting stars in the clear sky above.
