We arrived back in Ushuaia early yesterday evening after an exceptionally smooth trip across the Drake. (ok so I was a bit disappointed we didn't get any of the rough seas the Drake is famous for). Most of us opted to stay onboard after dinner and headed up to the Polar Bear Bar to hear Jeff play and to hang out. It was a lot of fun but tinged with sadness as none of us really wanted to leave. A fair few drinks and silly photos were had by all.

This morning was an early morning wake up call to pack and head up to breakfast by 7. Everyone waited in the lounge for various transfer groups then the tears started to flow as we had to say goodbye and found it hard to let go the farewell hugs. I met some amazing people on this trip and shared some mind blowing experiences. There are things (like our encounter with the 2 playful humpbacks) that neither words nor photos/ videos can adequately describe. Those who shared them are forever bound by exquisite memories and I will cherish them forever.
