We got a hostel bus to the transit centre at 10am, where we caught our Greyhound to Noosa. About two hours into the journey the bus stopped for quite a while. I was just beginning to wonder what was going on when the driver came over the PA system and said 'errr sorry guys - I've broken the bus'. We ended up being delayed for over an hour by going to a mechanic.
When we got back on our way, the driver put Wall-E on, so I was happy.
When we arrived in Noosa there was a van to take us to our hostel which was handy.
We dumped our stuff in our cramped 16 bed room and went to find some food in the town - we found a cafe that does jacket potatoes! I had a jacket with cheese and beans, I have missed them so much. I also had a juice called a Leprechaun which was apple, pear, lime and mint - very tasty.
Back at the hostel, St. Patrick's Day celebrations were in full swing. We were really tired and a bit hungover so we just laid in bed and read (although my Kindle is out of action so I just played Doodlejump on my phone).
After a couple of hours we figured we should do something, so we went for a wander around the town with Sam, and ended up back at the hostel an hour later eating an apple, before going to bed at 10pm. All in all not a very wild night.
During the night some really, really drunk guys woke Hannah and I up a few times (not Vicky, she'll sleep through anything) by talking to themselves really loudly and having a huge argument. One of the guys had a girl in his bed, and the other guy was like 'if you dare f*** her in this room I'll f*** you up man, do you hear me? I'll f*** you up!!!' - it was quite scary, I though there was going to be a fight. After about an hour of them being really loud, they passed out which was a relief.
And that was our day!
