Our accomodation was pre-booked in Chiang mai when the three of us had arranged that we'd be staying together and when we arrived in the north of Ko Phagnan in our resort we realised we'd booked a PALACE!! It was absolute luxury compared to mmy accomodation in Ko Tao so it made a nice change to the bed bugs and cockraoches that i'd shared my room with there.
We later found out we really weren't paying that much more than people staying down near the beach that the full moon party was on so we'd done quite a good deal.
The island of Ko Phagnan is famous for one thing amoungst travellers.....the full moon party! Its is basically another reason for us to dress up and drink so I spent the days leading up it chilling out on the beach and lying by the pool making sure I had a tan for it!
The full moon party was what I expected and more, it was loud, crazy, lights everywhere and buckets galour!! We'd prepared for the night but painting ourselves in UV paint so we suitable fit in under the black lights.
Unfortunately the camera I had bought for the night would have been able to show you this, it was possibly the most expensive disposable camera in the world as well, but my bag was cut off of me in a crowd and stolen. It happens a lot at the full moon parties which is why I bought a cheap bag. No sleep lost anyway!
The night was a blast and ended up getting in at 630am so the nwxt day was spent sleeping. I was then starting to get more and more excited to meet Amelia (my best friend from Uni) over on Phi Phi........
Lots of love, hugs and kisses from Ko Phagnan
