Light the way back home......
Well, this is my last day in Huntingdon, tomorrow I take off for Germany. Yesterday, Alex and I went and did a little shopping, mainly getting travel supplies for me. I also had to get my £250 deposit to give to Fez and the stupid Barclay's Hole in the Wall, short changed me £40! Not happy Jan! We then went and had lunch in Cromwells and I had an awesome Steak and Ale pie for lunch...this one was really good. Alex left about 2pm and I went and saw her off at the train station.
I then went home to the mammoth task of packing up, after being settled for nearly a month, which I'm sorry to say I still haven't finished. I also went over the see Aunty Chris and Gary, to say goodbye and then came home and went to bed.Today, I had to go and sort out my £40 with Barclay's, thankfully, they will just credit my account. I also took a walk over to HSBC and managed to get a bank account open here, finally! I then went over to Aunty Wendy's and she of course fed me which is always appreciated. I'm going out for dinner with Uncle Paul and Sarah tonight, so that should be fun. I leave have to get the train to Heathrow at 6:30am tomorrow, so its back on the road again for me tomorrow, with 6 months of living out of a backpack now on the cards.
I just want to say a great big thankyou to all my English family for putting up with me. Thanks to Uncle Paul for letting me stay in his flat, thanks to Aunty Wendy for letting use the net and for all the wonderful dinners, thanks to Aunty Chris and Gary for taking me in on my first day, thanks to Bev for attempting to keep me entertained and thanks to Uncle David for the great nights down the Market Inn! I miss all of you already.
