Day 9: A free day to explore Nice today! We headed off at 10am towards "Marche aux Fleurs" (flower market), bumping into James (British 19 year old dude) along the way. Transporter 4 was filming so they blocked off a small
section of the main square.

No celebrity or anyone famous spotted as yet...

The market had the freshest flowers, fruit, spices and deli products! James and Andie were particularly excited at all the various produce on offer.

Then we strolled to the Old Chateau, one of the main battle sites during WW2. Awesome views of the Cote d'Azur from the top with a gunshot fired at 12 noon (some general in the past set the tradition - aimed to remind his wife to make him lunch). After enjoying some cherries and mango smoothie from the top we ventured back down in search of pizza, ending up at "La Fevola" near the flower market.

Did some window shopping before heading back to the hotel to dress up for Monaco tonight! Everyone was finally kitted up, but most of the girls looked quite skanky and trashy.

An hour later we arrived in Monaco! Ventured up to the Royal Palace to take some group shots overlooking the Monaco Bay, where many superyachts were berthed. Monaco was truly a place made for the rich and famous. Absolutely meticulous and perfectly paved streets and spectacularly maintained buildings, and wondeful views of the Monaco Bay. And of course, many luxury and supercars zipping along the streets. Apparenty Monaco is one of the hardest places to get a passport (requires approval from the royal family). Prince Albert was getting married to some South African chick in July so there were slot of signs and banners up.

Now off to Monte Carlo Grand Casino - the plaza outside had an endless procession of super cars getting dropped off for valet parking - maseratis, bentleys, BMW, Mercedes super luxury cars. Crazy!

We didn't end up paying the €10 to get into the Monte Carlo Casino though, as we only had 1.5 hours to roam around. The bus ride back at 10pm was super hectic! Alex, the dirty trashbag w**** bogan was already mixing vodka and coke on the bus ride there. An she was drinking even more on the way back, swearing and yelling down the bus. We were sitting right next to her so we got a good show. She spilled her drink at one stage and bent down on all fours to wipe it up. Her dress (which looked like pjs) hardly covered her butt standing up. Now she was full flashing the whole back of the bus when she bent down. Another dude took a picture of her. I think she totally enjoys the attention and does it on purpose!

At this stage, Andie and I hadn't stopped pissing ourselves laughing at all the antics and hysteria occurring at the back of the bus. It was hilarious!!

Alex walked up and down the bus making a fool of herself and at one stage when she walked back down, Carlos, who was in the seat next to her , muttered an anxious "UH-OH" in his mexican accent as she stumbled her way back down the bus. Andie overheard this and we couldnt stop laughing on the rest of the ride back!! Frikin hilarious and hysterical night tonight! Alex was a bogan slutty w**** who made a fool of herself, and everyone seems to dislike (and secretly makes fun of) her now cos of her behavior. I feel sorry for people like these. Theyll probably have much more serious drinking or other problems later in life.

Andie is going to find an appropriate time to tell Luke Alex had been drinking alcohol (which is against road regulations).
