Hi everyone - seems like you having a great time. Good to see the photo's at last too Phil. Does it make you homesick being so close to the sea - all we need really is the SUN and we could pretend we were in Oz LOL Carry on having FAB time - thanks for the update Les.

Our first internet since leaving Hunter Valley so first chance to blog. Our first stop was Tweed Heads staying with Mumsie's relatives Uncle John & Carol Borkett, and Terry & . Good weather still which allowed plenty of swimming in the Ocean, the Tweed River, and Les & Phil even braved a dip in a deep rainforest rockpool. Les also had an unitentional dip in the harbour inlet at uncle John's when he capsized the kayak which Phil insight of much voodoo stayed on nice & dry. Les managed to track down and buy a kangaroo leather Jacaru bush hat, a bargain at 35 bucks. Next it was on to Agnes Water for a stay in a cliff top villa overlooking the sea. This place had a tennis court and so the golf challenge became a tennis challenge with a one set thriller ending 6 all with a tie break decider ending 13-11. Who won, better ask Phil when he is in a better mood !! This was a lovely place where we all ending up swimming in the ocean surf and rhi got in lots of extra sunbathing. On to Airlie Beach well up into Queensland now for another 2 night stop. Here we could no longer swim in the ocean because of lethal jellyfish, but Airlie has a massive saltwater lagoon where a length must be the same as 5 in Dyfed Road. Steak on a stone dinner here as well and caught in a tropical downpour where poor Les had to riun for the car. So now we are in Palm Cove, just the other side of Cairns our most northerly stop where we are staying for 5 nights in a fabulous villa with pool and an outside lounge and barbeque. Phil has just had yet another row from Rhi & mumsie for jumping in a pool without looking again. Mumsie has got tonsilitus so lots of sympathy messages please. Thats all for now as we have got to plan our trip on the Kuranda train and skyrail ride through the rainforest for tomorrow.

Hope you are all having a great time down under. I really wish I was there too. We are all ok. Jo has had two offers for uni, sheffield and sunderland. She's chuffed to bits! Cardiff did well against Chelsea (not! 4.1) good game though. Going to Derby to seen Swans on Saturday, we might call in on Rachel and Mike and surprise them!! Anyway have a really lovely time and we'll see you all soon xxx
