Woke up on the bus about an hour out of Santa Cruz, so managed to get a few hours sleep at least, the bus eventually turned up and I hopped off and started my walk to the hostel, it was only 10 minutes but after an intense game of ultimate and pretty broken sleep my legs didn't work too good so felt a lot longer, I got to the hostel about 7:45 so only had to wait 15 mins before I could drop my bags off and make use of the facilities. After getting settled I popped off to the store and picked up some food for the next couple of days, found a decent shop that was quite cheap and got some decent munch! I then went back to the hostel and cooked up a quick breakfast then met 2 guys Owen and Lucas and we decided to head down the beach together as the weather was glorious! Literally not a cloud in the sky, we walked along the old rail way tracks which took us over a bridge and all the way to harbour beach which was an awesome little beach, we settled down for a few hours and I had a little kip to catch up on some sleep, when I woke up I was super hot so we all jumped in the water to cool off and then got settled on the beach again. A nice little pooch came over and said hello and then proceeded to take a leak on Lucas' shirt.. What a cute dog.. We laughed it off along with a couple people in the surrounding area! We then decided around mid afternoon to take a stroll along the beach and up along the shoreline, we headed to the next beach over and took some pictures from a top the cliffs, it was getting on by this point and check time at the hostel was 5pm (tad weird) so we headed back along the tracks and popped into the boardwalk to take a quick look around then headed back to the hostel and checked in, after checking in I hopped online quick and booked me hostel in Miami, another thing off the list. After cooking up dinner and looking into a few more things up the east coast, when everyone was done was dinner we looked through the DVD listing and decided to watch The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, after about 20 minutes of failing to put the DVD player on the projector the owner came in and sorted it out for us and just after that he even bought us in some butter popcorn! What a guy! After the movie I was bushed so called it a night and crashed out in bed for and shot straight off to sleep!
