The day started with what I believe to be a well deserved lie in after a long day yesterday, I got up and out of bed near midday and fixed a lazy lunch and then got in the pool to chill out! The hostel was organising a BBQ today so I signed up to that, $10 all you can eat so can't really complain! Tucked into the BBQ and went back for seconds and then had a couple of social drinks with team canada followed by a drink or two at woodys again, but nothing too mental...

Birthday! I was up super early at 5am to do the sunrise walk with Rosie and some other people from the hostel, the lighthouse at Byron is the most eastern part of the country so first to see the sunrise, it was a little bit cloudy but besides that it was a really nice morning! After we rather the sunrise we came back to the hostel and I shoved I some trainers as I was off to my skydive today!!! I was jumping out a plane at 14,000ft and was super pumped to do so! ...

Woke up red raw and feeling the burn, caught the sun pretty bad yesterday and my body was super achy today! I spent most of the day chilling in the pool with a t-shirt on and then I started chatting to the mass Canadian community that was at the hostel, they were all super nice as Canadians usually are and had a social beer or two with them, I was feeling pretty drained from the sun burn so decided to call it a night fairly early and let my poor body rest!

Woke up and found Rosie at the breakfast table, team Wales had left earlier so I missed them unfortunately... Rosie and I took a walk to the beach and spent a few hours there chatting in the sun and then cooling off in the ocean, we headed back to the hostel after a good few hours and that's when we both realised we were both a bit sunburnt... After a bite to eat I got up to date with my emails and Facebook etc. then I bumped into Team Wales and their roommate Rosie and we all jumped into Toms car and made our way to the hippie village of Nimbin!
