Woke up fairly early as I wanted breakfast, needed to pack and then check out by 10am I managed to do all 3 then chill out a bit before heading off, Rhys joined me for my walk to the bus station and then after a little wait I said goodbye to Rhys and got on my coach and I was on route to Byron Bay! I think it was about a 3-4 hour journey where I listened to music and even dozed off for a little bit and then I arrived at Byron! A Canadian chap called Matt was waiting for me at the bus terminal and picked me up in the hostel mini bus, he drove me round town and pointed out a few decent spots as bars etc. I then got to the hostel and started chatting to a few people from
Wales, we introduced ourselves and I spent the evening with them Matt, Tom
and Kiera, they gave me a beer or two then I joined them then out for a beer but called it an early night as I was pretty drained from the travel, they invited me to join them in Nimbin the next day as Tom has his car so that was pretty awesome!
