Our journey from Oz to NZ was easy and we had soon checked into our hotel in Auckland and went off for an explore. We found the sky tower and the harbour along with several bars and a restaurant. Sadly we later found out that Lucy's Nan had passed away at home.

Since then we have driven in another trusty campervan to the far north of New Zealand and back down to Auckland. For those who think New Zealand is just like Australia, you couldn't be more wrong. The scale of Australia is just crazy, you can drive in a straight line all day and see nothing. In New Zealand you can't drive in a straight line anywhere! The scenery here is stunning and if it's not green hills (with sheep) it's a ragged coastline.

Having a great time with loads of the two islands left to explore. We just don't need people stealing our beer!
