Im still in Noosa but thought it was about time for an update, but to be honest theres not much to tell. Im still having a great time and think Noosa is a fantatic place; loads to do, friendly people and right beside the beach. Iv done a weeks work in the kitchens and still think its a great job, am sure iv put on wieght though because iv lost count of the number of buritos iv eaten...Im living in the staff house at the moment which is a welcome change from moving from hostel to hostel, its a great place to live but more so for its character than apperance. For the past few days i was living in a room called 'The Dungeon' as it had no windows and only a mattress, chest of drawers roof fan and light. Luckily my co-worker in the kitchen (Anne) has just left so iv pinched her room. It has a window!

I had a day off work today so took the opportunity to get a surfing lesson for 2 hours down at the beach. It was fantastic fun and i actually managed to stad up on the board a couple of times! Hopefully i'll manage to have another lesson before i leave Queensland. Its also nice to have ticked the box 'Surfing on the Eats coast of Australia'

Just a couple of hours ago i worked out a plan for the next wee while. Work here for one more week then move onto Brisbane for 2 days, then travel down to Byron Bay and stay there for 2 days. After that make the trek from there to Sydney and stay a night at with Tom (friend from school) at his flat before meeting Mum and Jenny the next day! Very excited about them coming across and cant wait to see them both again. The only sour note to this plan is that my boss here (Maria) wasnt too chuffed when i told here i had to go after only two weeks...oh well.
