So much had happened in the past few days i have decided to break it up into two blogs. I'll start where i left; at the Thomas' house. On the road with Mum and Jen and loving it. We spent a few days in Sydney doing the touristy sites and meeting with a few friends which was brilliant. Saw all the great views of the opera house and the bridge, and trust me its amazing. Had a few very nice meals and it makes a bit of a difference from my usual pasta or two-minute noodles so appreciating every piece of non home brand food. Have arrived in the capital and have already seen the Harbour Bridge (passing on the bus). The bus ride here was, to put it mildly, rubbish. 12 hours of discomfort with only two films on the trip, the worst part was that the seat i was in seamed to have a few cockroaches underneath so didnt get too much sleep in fear of being crawled over...However the ride is over and im here! Right now im relaxing in Byron Bay before the 12 hour (yes, 12 hours!) bus journey straight to Sydney. Byron Bay is possibly the most chilled out place iv ever visited, im staying a famous hostel called The Arts Factory which is brilliant. A bit more expensive than the usual but well worth it for the atmosphere, everyone seems to talk to everyone else and just last night i met loads of great people.
