I had my first experience of work last night and to be totally honest i really enjoyed it. My earlier thoughts of being an 'Underwater Ceramics Inspector' was correct but that isnt my only job. Im also serving and clearing the plates from the tables but most imprtantly im preparing some of the food! Admittadly most of it includes using a microwave but i still consider my self 'Sous-Chef'. My list of dishes include; Buritos, Lasagne (Beef and Vegitable), Ceaser Salad, Chips and garneshing any other meals. So far one nights work has gone really well and im actually looking forward to tonight. I think the only problem is going to be eating WAY too much as we have constant access to all the food so its always a bit tempting.
I forgot to say last time that i have been the victim of a vicious crime...As i was going to visit Ben Dean and family i thought it would be kind and considerate to take with me a nice box of Belgian Chocolates. I bought them a couple of hours before we were due to meet and (because of the heat) stored them in the comunal fridge. You can probaly guess the rest. 2 and a half hours later someone had pinched them from the fridge. A full bow of wrapped chocolates in a tied up plastic bag gone. To say i was annoyed was an understatement but theres not a lot i can do about it to be honest, other than interview all 150 people staying here. Oh well.
My opinion of Noosa still hasnt changed, a really great place but a tad over-priced. I'll write again soon.
P.S. I'd just like to take this time to appologise for my spelling in these blogs, i know its occasionly rubbish but with no spell-check you have to give me some slack.
