Austin - College city of Texas.

Headed straight to 6th street when i arrived where all the bars and clubs are. Live music is played everywhere, country in some places and metal in others.

Without doubt the best bar there is `the Bikini Bar`! The bar I was in after was called `the chuggin mokey` no joke!

I headed into town on the Monday but it was a local holiday and almost everywhere was closed so there was little to do. I headed to the State Capitol Building and had a wander round looking for George Bush so I could give the man a slap! Unfortunately he wasn't to be seen anywhere.

the State Capitol Building is actually a really nice place and had a wee tour around the place but it got a little boring.

Everynight at sunset at the bridge across the river 1.5 million bats wake up and go out looking for food. I couldn't believe how many bats there were and they came out in huge swarms at a time. A little creepy when you how many there are.
