i arrived in Toronto on Friday and headed out with a group of about 20 from the hostel and some crazy Germans.
I met somebody Scottish for the first time I've been away. He was from Dunoon but had spent the last 4 years at uni in Glasgow staying in Maryhill. He didn't let the side doon and got proper blootered and made a complete numpty of himself. It was funny as though! He got dragged out of the club but the buggest bouncer I've ever seen and after paying him $20 they let him back in to be a proper pest again.
I met the second Scotsman on Saturday who actually turned out to be a tramp! He was standing on the street corner waving a cup around asking for change but then just started shouting `it's no change a f***in want it's your mastercard and visa big man' Proper weegie. Safe to say we've got a great reputation in Toronto!
Headed to the CN Tower on Sunday but when I got there it was too cloudy to bother going up but there was a baseball game about to start so I went there instead. Stadium was class, it's a dome that swings open when the weather is decent with the CN tower right next door. plenty of hotdogs and pishy american beer!
