Went sight seeing around Washington. Seen all the usual stuff Capitol Building, White Hoose, Washington Monument Lincoln Memorial and about a 1000 war memorials. The Yanks do like a good war!

Arrived In Washington DC last night after a 10 hour train ride from Charleston, South Carolina. Today I headed to the Fedex Stadium and managed to get a ticket for the DC United v Real Madrid game. The stadium is an absolute beast, there was 72000 there and it only looked 3/4 full at best. It was toasty hot but there is beer flowing all the time in the stadium and you don't even have to get off your ass to get some, it gets brought to you! The first half was ...
