Arrived in Dallas/Fort Worth yesterday. Dallas is quite a nice place but actually very quiet in downtown. I headed to the JFK museum with an Aussie and a Swede from the hostel. It was really worth going to as it is on the same floor in the book depository from where the shots were fired. There are crosses on the road where the car was ewach time he was shot. Imanaged to get a photo of myself on the grassy knoll (and yes I did have the same shorts on!)

I headed into Fort Worth with Sylvester the Swedish guy to the Stockyards which is supposed to be Cowboy country. It was a little tacky and touristy so decided to head into the Rodeo. Austin - College city of Texas. Headed straight to 6th street when i arrived where all the bars and clubs are. Live music is played everywhere, country in some places and metal in others.
