After the escapade yesterday and last night I only had time for a whistlestop tour of Charleston.
After my Glasgow shower I got on the bus to head to downtown. I jumped on the first bus that came along and after an hour and nowhere near downtown I started to worry. I spoke to the driver and he said i should have got the 12 bus and not the 10. We were now 14 miles outside of Charleston! The bus was actually quite funny as the locals all speak with a proper southern accent and sound absolute mince! All you hear them saying is "praise the lord" and "amen to that, yes siree"
After another hour I finally arrived in downtown Charleston.
after all the pissing about on buses in the last day I was slightly pissed off but Charleston was pleasantly surprised with Charleston as it actually was a really beautiful place.
Charleston is a port town and all of the buildings have a Georgian appearance and looks more like an old city in Europe than in America, with old market streets and cobbles.
Becasue of all the messing about on the buses I missed the last boat tour and it was over 100F so I decided to head to yet another Irish bar.
NEVER GETTING ON A BUS AGAIN!!!!!!
