Next stop was an overnight stay in a maori village but 1st a stop off at waitomo caves i hate small spaces so i decided to go tubing where u float around an underground river on a tyre but they told me the caves were flooded but i cud do an evan better adventure for the same price to make up for it, realising it was better than half price i said ok without actualy realising what i had said ok to! so after getting geared up i realised we were going caving and this is my biggest fear being stuck far undergound crawling through small holes in darkness but i had come this far and didnt want to be the only 1 who backed out. as usual i talk to much so the instuctor targeted me and volunteered me to be the 1st to absail 80 metres down a black hole it also made it difficult abailing with a waterfall hitting u in the face. when i got to the bottom i was in water up to my chest and the other instructor was waiting he told me to pull the others out of the water when they each absailed down and unclip them to send the rope back up then direct them underneath the waterfall through the water where the instuctor would be waiting for them! i actualy found it quite fun telling people they had to go through hole under the waterfall just to see their reactions. whenever we all switched our lights off the cave was lit with glow worms it was like looking up at night and seeing the stars very nice! eventualy after 3 hours we rock climbed our way out to freedom and it rly wasent that bad at all, i thought i was scared of small spaces but obviously not i also thought i was scared of hights but i still sky dived so i think u dont rly know what your scared of until u come face to face with it! after a hot shower and lunch we made our way to the maori village a very different evening but it was nice unfortunately i was made to wear a skirt and do the haka but it was the same for all the guys im guessing the pictures are all over facebook now! after a crappy sleep on the floor with 40 other people we headed on to rotorua....
