You know that rhyme - sleep tight and dont let the bedbugs bite...well we failed to achieve either of those last night....not one of our best night. Anyway we were glad to get back on the road and away from our hotel! Our first stop was to see the Cadillac Ranch where the cars are buried in the ground. In its heyday this would have looked absolutely stunning...but unfortunately today they let people come and spraypaint the cars..mind you it is still a fascinating...

We started off today in a solemn way with a visit to the Oklahoma memorial. We were glad we visited the memorial last night as it was quiet a moving experience. The visit today gave us the opportunity to see it in daylight and to visit the museum. They do memorials exceedingly well over here ( just a pity that they have to).
