Today was a free day for us which meant a lovely lovely sleep in...it was just good to do things at our own pace today. Once we finally got up we decided to investigate the bubonicon (comic convention)... Well let's just say that was rather interesting to say the least. After that we decided to walk up to a local shopping centre ( rather on the large size).. And we shopped...oh boy did we shop!!! Hannah ventured into the maternity shop featured in the photos and was asked if she was expecting...we decided that it could be a food baby at this stage !!!! On our way back to the hotel we were caught in a rain storm...and wow were the raindrops huge! We had a quick visit to the gy,m to ease our conscience in relation to our food intake (who are we kidding!). For tea we took the Sandia Peak aerial tram up to the restaurant, High Finance, where we had tea. On the menu it mentioned airline chicken which refers to both the breast and the wing!!!! The meal was nice..and in ' normal portions ', although Randy, our tour guide had a steak that was still mooing. On the way back to the motel he also told us a number of horror stories he has experienced on tour...he is a classic storyteller. To finish off we will share one of his jokes... What is the difference between a buffalo and a bison ? You can't wash your face in a buffalo !!!! As you can see he has our sense of humor.
